SUB 5 MINUTE MILERS
1. CONNOR VACHON- 4:37.6 2025 4:38.2 2024, 4:44.4 2022,
world record holder

At the inaugural CMM elite race in 2022, Connor Vachon became not only the first CMM runner to break 5, but also shattered the previous milk mile world record. He then took a year long hiatus before returning to the first ever EAST VS WEST elite race in 2024, where he laid down the most dominant CMM performance of all time. Winning the elite heat by nearly 30 seconds, breaking his own world record, and becoming the first man to run a milk mile in the 4:30's- A performance that alone would solidify Connor as the GOAT of this event. One would think Connor would have nothing left to prove at this event, yet he returned in 2025 for the love of the game. It was another generational performance, opening the first 400m in sub 60s, finishing 22 seconds in front of the next competitor, and again breaking his own world record. If you think you can challenge him, you're wrong.

2. BEN RICHARDS- 4:52.8 2022

In the same race as Connor in 2022, Ben Richards battled valiantly to become the second milk miler to break 5, as well as going under the previous record. Known for his pre-race antics and controversial chugging style (which led many to plead for his disqualification), Ben was a fan favorite as well as fierce competitor.
3. CALEB JAREMA- 4:55.18 2023

Cocky yet capable, Caleb won a tactical 2023 elite mile race with a cheeky sit and kick win in the last 100 meters over former teammate Ben Richards. Although most of the race was quite pedestrian, Caleb's foot-speed over the last 400 meters proved to be enough to easily get him under the 5 minute barrier and cement himself in CMM history.
4. Evan Loughridge- 4:59.01 2025

After a three year hiatus, Evan rejoined the Elite Chocolate Milk Mile field and did so in astounding fashion. A rough time trial finishing in 5:44 days prior led Evan to start the race cautiously, but after hanging back with the pack for the first three laps, Evan released a violent kick over the last 400m to drop everyone in sight, finishing second behind Connor Vachon on his home track. Evan became the 4th man to break five, and the third Pinckney Pirate to do so.
